Our new fields, Moran's is getting more turkey manure added today..Fetter's fields are too wet yet, when they put lime on it hubby had to go and get the driver unstuck..with our skidder..

Wow it's been awhile since I wrote. Not much to say except we are still making our planter and fixing our cultivating tractor. The rains won't stay away long enough for us to get our fields prepared. We did have lime added today to all our fields. Hubby has gotten some of the fields plowed and brush and trees chopped off of Moran's fields. As for Fetters we have not started them yet.

  Have not been able to take many pictures yet, will post what I can soon..

   Frustration and stress are the norm for some farmers and hubby is not exempt from that. I have started to become a farmers widow and also the go-for all things needed...

Our extra acres we acquired this year is 45. We still have the 60.9 acres from last year. We will be doing mostly corn, but will still do soybeans too. Acres in each crop will be determined later..
  Hubby is still making his own corn planter with parts of Oliver and Yetter planters. So far its going well , he is doing the making of it when he can. Today he will do some discing on the new fields..
