Hi,
Been a while since I have written. We have been real busy trying to get our crops in and fix our equipment. Have more corn in on Fetters now and more to plant. We are still not have our soybeans in yet.. The land has been too wet and we have been having problems getting help.

Fixing our equipment has been a challenge. Getting people to help when needed is tough. I have pictures of the process of our equipment makeovers. Also our corn that was previously planted is up and now needs cultivating..

We have had help from Justin Hopple,  Steve Mincemoyer, Adreana Mincemoyer, David(son of Steves wife), Delbert Mincemoyer.

Hubby has been out plowing and discing when he can with all the waiting of ground to be dry enough to do so..

Our busy time of the year, I feel like a widow, although hubby has me running errands and picking him up every so often. It has been hard on me when I need to get things done in home. It just doesn't get done..

Farming by yourself and not much help takes a long time to get things done. Eventually it does. :)

Until another post, see ya later..

Yesterday June 1st 2014 we painted our cultivating Oliver 1655 tractor. With the help of a few friends, Shari Rosier, Justin Hopple and us..It looks good but needs  more painting and put back together..

Today June 2nd, 2014 hubby is doing more plowing and we hired hands to disc and plant corn on Moran's fields .. we used the same seed from last year Blue River 104 Day 53R57 variety.

Didn't get pictures of planting.. But excited the weather held out and the ground dry enough to plant..
